Most encounters are available year-round, the elephant encounter being the exception (March – 1st week in November).
Grizzly Encounters
Join Jeff "the Bear Man" Watson, along with Grizzlies Bob and Screech for an exclusive experience or educational encounter. The trio has been featured on Animal Planet’s Project Grizzly as well as Discovery Channel’s Porter Ridge. Ask questions, take one-of-a-kind photos, help prepare Bob and Screech’s breakfast, and more!
Elephant Encounters
Interact with the Elephants, Lou and Carol, during one of the unique experiences offered at Wilstem Wildlife Park. Come meet an elephant, help give her a spa bath, prepare breakfast, pet her and listen to her purr, get unique photos to cherish, and much more! Carol, an Asian Elephant, joined the Wilstem family in the spring of 2020.
Giraffe Encounters
Meet and greet the incredible Giraffe duo during one of the encounter options, including a private educational encounter or a group educational encounter. Feed the giraffes, take one-of-a-kind pictures, and more!
Lemur Educational Encounter
Come experience the fun personalities of Wilstem's Lemurs! Get up-close and personal in a small intimate group setting. Learn about the Lemurs, get exclusive photos, ask questions, and give them their favorite snack!
Sloth Educational Encounter
Wilstem welcomed Luna the two-toed Sloth to their expanding family in the spring of 2020. Visitors absolutely love her and her feisty attitude! Enjoy her company in a small intimate encounter by getting up-close and personal with her! Experience her one-of-a-kind personality, get exclusive photos, learn about her and her breed, ask questions, and have the opportunity to feed her...if she’s not being too lazy.
Roos and Crew
Get the opportunity to meet some great personalities in the Roos and Crew barn. Enjoy the parakeet park, getting up-close with kangaroos, a porcupine, an iguana, macaws, goats, pony’s, snakes, and more! Roos and Crew encounter can be purchased separately or is included in the purchase of any other animal encounter!
