Timeless French Lick
Orange County CVB, doing business as Timeless French Lick, serves as the official destination marketing organization for Orange County, Indiana. Our mission is to promote tourism and provide visitors with the information and resources they need to enjoy French Lick, West Baden, Paoli, and Orleans.
The CVB is fully funded through the Innkeepers Tax, a 4% tax on overnight lodging accommodations (excluding campgrounds). Of this revenue, 95% supports the CVB and 5% supports the Orange County Tourism Commission.
Timeless French Lick operates under the guidance of a Board of Directors and the Orange County Tourism Commission.
History
Recognize this building?
What was once the Oxford Hotel now serves as the Timeless French Lick Visitors Center, welcoming guests as they arrive from the east side of town.
The Oxford Hotel was opened in 1913 by John Bartlett, chef and chief steward of the famed West Baden Springs Hotel. Its basement housed the Blind Tiger, a lively spot known for gambling and liquor. Over the years, the Oxford developed quite a reputation — local children were even told to cross the street rather than walk past it.

The Brick Exchange
The Brick Exchange, located inside our Visitor Center in West Baden, is all about celebrating Indiana and the people who make it special. We’re proud to feature products from local makers, small businesses, and minority-owned businesses, giving visitors the chance to support our community while finding something truly unique.
Whether it’s a locally made candle, a piece of Indiana-themed clothing, or a gift that highlights French Lick, West Baden, and all of Orange County, The Brick Exchange offers a shopping experience that’s full of heart and local pride.
