David Lee Murphy is best recognized by his massive hit songs “Dust on the Bottle” and “Party Crowd.” He’s also known as one of country music’s foremost and most prolific songwriters. Inducted into the esteemed Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2023, Murphy has written songs for superstars including Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Hank Williams Jr. and Brooks & Dunn.
With more than 30 charting country singles, Murphy continues to crank out hits for a new generation of country music fans. His most recent No Zip Code album yielded the #1 single and duet with Chesney, “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,” which earned Murphy his first CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year.
