Orleans Dogwood Festival

“Operation Dogwood” launched by townspeople in the mid-1960s, has succeeded in it’s goal of having hundreds of trees planted along roads, in parks, and in the yards. The annual Dogwood Festival held in late April celebrates Orleans as the “Dogwood Capital of Indiana”.
