The Spas at French Lick Resort Featured on CondéNast Traveler List of Top 270 Spas
Southern Indiana destination recognized among nation’s best
FRENCH LICK, IN (May 18, 2012) – Recognition on Condé Nast Traveler’s Top Spas List is an honor for any resort, but it’s an even greater accomplishment when a destination makes the list twice. That would be the case for the Midwest’s premier resort destination, French Lick Resort. This marks the second year in a row for the resort’s Spa at West Baden and the first for the Spa at French Lick.
The June 2012 issue features the Top 270 Spas in North America, Caribbean, Hawaii and at Sea. In its 22st year, the survey results are derived from the magazine’s 2011 Readers' Choice Survey. A questionnaire was available to all readers through a secure website. Nearly 29,000 people rated the spas’ facilities, staff and treatments. Guests can discover true relaxation at the 28,000 square foot Spa at West Baden. Marble inlaid floors, deep chocolate cabinetry and hand-blown glass welcome guests to the destination spa. Professional therapists treat guests to an experience far beyond a traditional spa service. Indulgent experiences include relaxing massages, all natural facials, cleansing scrubs and more. The spa is located in a two-level natatorium, which was reconstructed based on historic photographs of the original structure built in the early 1900s. The old-word style extension of the hotel houses 12 treatment rooms, a fitness center an indoor lap pool.
Tranquility is re-defined at the 27,000 square foot Spa at French Lick, with roots tying back to the turn-of-the-century.
